Brandi Kole

Brandi Kole is a mixed-media fiber artist whose work reimagines traditional craft through unconventional and often repurposed materials. Working with textiles, sewing, free-motion embroidery, painting, paper, vinyl, cardboard, and found objects, Kole challenges the boundaries historically separating fiber art from contemporary fine art. Her practice explores identity, gender, sexuality, domesticity, memory, consumerism, and the complicated experience of being seen.
