A bold, dimensional photo‑sculpture that captures the explosive color, attitude, and legacy of RISK, one of the pioneers of West Coast graffiti. Rose assembles a layered grid of photographic panels, creating a fragmented yet cohesive portrait that mirrors the kinetic energy of RISK’s visual world.

At the center, RISK holds a vibrant, graffiti‑styled crown sculpture before his face, its saturated colors and dynamic forms echoing the unmistakable palette of his murals. His tattooed hand, skull‑bead bracelet, and fleur‑de‑lis pendant add personal iconography, grounding the piece in the artist’s own history. Behind him, rows of spray paint cans form a subtle backdrop, reinforcing the lineage of street art embedded in the work.

The sculptural layering pushes the portrait outward, giving it movement and depth, an interplay between realism, objecthood, and the graphic intensity that defines RISK’s practice. Through this collaboration, Rose transforms the artist into both subject and symbol, constructing an artwork from the very elements that shaped a generation of graffiti culture.
