Glance (aerosol on canvas; 48 × 60 in) captures a moment of quiet intensity through bold color fields and soft, atmospheric spray. Rock CYFI Martinez shapes the portrait with warm reds and pinks that dissolve into deep blue shadows, creating a dramatic interplay between light and emotion.

The face emerges from smooth gradients and subtle transitions, its expression held in the tension between softness and contrast. Martinez’s aerosol technique gives the work a cinematic glow edges blur, highlights flare, and the gaze becomes the focal point of the composition. In this piece, the glance is both fleeting and charged, revealing how a single moment can hold depth, vulnerability, and presence.
