No Thanks, I’m Full” is an original, signed 24 × 32 inch painting by Bisbee, Arizona artist Bill Mead, a wonderfully whimsical scene where a dignified black bird stands upright, umbrella in one hand and walking stick in the other, as if politely excusing itself from the feast laid out before it. Mead’s humor is gentle but unmistakable, a bell pepper on a patterned plate, a fork waiting, and a glass of red wine garnished with citrus, all arranged with theatrical care.

The composition blends charm and absurdity: a bird behaving like a well‑mannered guest, a landscape glowing with soft light, and objects that feel both everyday and slightly enchanted. Mead’s surrealism is confident and unforced; the unexpected settles naturally into the world he builds, inviting the viewer to linger on the wit, the symbolism, and the quiet strangeness woven throughout. A vivid, character‑rich work from Mead’s Gravity & Wonder collection.
