Sloane Bouchever

Sloane Bouchever - born New York City, 1958

Bouchever began painting in oils at the age of 13; started life drawing classes at 14; went on to receive his BFA in studio art from Trinity College in 1981 where he studied under “color field” painter George Chaplin, a disciple of Josef Albers.

Bouchever lived and painted in Zürich (where he met his beautiful wife Danielle in 1986), Florence, Paris and Barcelona during the 80’s and 90’s.

His work is featured in numerous collections throughout the US and Europe and he has had many one person shows over the past 40 years.
